Right before the Tokyo Game Show, PlayStation is set to return with its State of Play event on September 24. The presentation will air at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 11 pm CEST on YouTube and Twitch. It will feature over 30 minutes of updates on announced games and brand new reveals from developers around the world, including anticipated third-party titles, indie games, and some PlayStation Studios’ titles.
During this presentation, viewers can expect an extended look at Saros, a new game from Housemarque launching next year. Past State of Play events have often taken place right before the Tokyo Game Show, as was rumored for 2025. The June 2025 event, in particular, offered many exciting reveals, such as Romeo is A Dead Man by Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture, a new action game with unique vibes; FINAL FANTASY TACTICS – The Ivalice Chronicles, which will include quality-of-life enhancements and voice acting to elevate an already great tactical RPG; and MARVEL TOKON: Fighting Souls, a new fighting game by Arc System Works featuring Marvel Comics characters.
Given the history of State of Play events, it’s likely that this presentation will include additional surprises alongside updates on Saros and the rumored first look at Insomniac’s Wolverine.
