In a shocking incident in Odisha’s Ganjam district, a newlywed woman attempted to murder her disabled husband. According to police, the 19-year-old suspect pushed her husband into a well following an argument when she learned about his disability and unemployment.

The woman, who lives in Sudumasara village, was arrested for attempted murder after her father-in-law filed a complaint with the Bellaguntha police station on Sunday night. The victim, a 35-year-old man, is receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Inspector-in-charge Rebati Sabar confirmed the arrest and stated that the investigation is ongoing, with more details expected as the inquiry progresses.
