Season 3 “Breakthrough” introduces Nell, a new playable character with arc-like telekinetic abilities. She launches energy spheres that inflict debuffs and pull nearby enemies into her attacks. This makes her ideal for fast-paced, aggressive players as she can convert all gunfire into weak point hits. Breakthrough also expands the game world by adding a large new field area called “Axion” and introduces a formidable Colossus boss battle. Additionally, the update includes a mountable vehicle that enables faster travel across The First Descendant’s regions.

Inspired by Aztec mythology and real historical events from the 16th century, players find themselves in a nightmarish world where they must survive against long-forgotten gods like Xipe Totec—the Aztec god of death, life, rebirth, agriculture, vegetation, and deadly warfare.
The game takes place on the ship Hernán Cortés traveled to reach the land of the Aztecs. The dark and eerie atmosphere conceals other entities revealed through the storyline as the protagonist, Adrian, progresses. “Death Relives” launched about ten days ago on Steam and has received mostly positive reviews from users (83%).
