The whereabouts of the Arc B770 are still unknown, but Intel seems to be developing both faster mainstream GPUs and entry-level models. The addition of the 0xE209 PCI ID to both the Linux Kernel and Mesa indicates support for this new GPU. Mesa, which provides open-source drivers for rendering, compute, and display, now includes 3D rendering support for the Arc B380.
According to speculations based on a leaker’s report, the Arc B380 may feature 16 Xe2 cores, similar to the Arc B570. If true, it could perform closely to the B570 and offer excellent value at under $150. The Arc A380 was launched at $149, so if Intel prices the B380 similarly, it could be a compelling entry-level option for gamers.
