When Borderlands 4 launched two days ago, it immediately set a new franchise record for concurrent players on Steam. This number has since been surpassed as recently as thirteen hours after launch, with SteamDB registering 252K concurrent players. The number is likely to increase further over the next few days due to the game’s popularity during its initial weekend. Despite mixed user reviews on Steam, largely due to performance issues, the game continues to attract new players.

According to the leak by Digital Chat Station, the S26 Pro maintains its small screen size, aligning with the trend of compact flagships. Compared to the Galaxy S25, this is a minor increase in display size but keeps the phone within the compact category, especially when considering the larger displays of other flagship models.

The battery capacity for the S26 Pro has been upgraded from 4,000 mAh to 4,300 mAh. This change aims to address one of the typical drawbacks of compact smartphones: limited battery life. However, it remains to be seen whether this will improve real-world performance and handle Samsung’s processor and screen power efficiently.

By using the Pro branding, Samsung signals a shift in its positioning and naming strategy. The S26 Pro is likely to replace the standard model and sit alongside the Ultra and Edge models, helping to streamline the tech giant’s lineup. This could position the S26 Pro as the entry point for the S-series, mirroring Apple’s approach.

While the industry trend is towards larger devices, Samsung’s decision to maintain a small model in its flagship range is noteworthy. If the S26 Pro offers significant performance upgrades, it could become the most balanced flagship on the market in 2026.
