NVIDIA’s Humanoid Robots Could Open Up the Next Revenue Frontier for the Company, After AI Computing

Following advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), including training, generative AI, and agentic AI, NVIDIA is now focusing on ‘physical AI’. In particular, humanoid robots are a significant aspect of this new market. According to recent reports, Chinese firms like Unitree have made notable progress in the sector. However, it seems that NVIDIA plans to enter the ‘AI robot’ market soon, as Foxconn prepares to manufacture these robots for potential launch within a few months.

Foxconn is an integral part of NVIDIA’s AI supply chain, responsible for mass-producing cutting-edge AI servers such as Blackwell and Blackwell Ultra models. At Foxconn’s Technology Day in November, NVIDIA will showcase its solutions for humanoid robots, which are now equipped with large language models (LLMs) and robotic brains.

Interestingly, it is reported that Foxconn plans to produce humanoid robots with its facility in America. These robots are currently being trained for industrial environments and will be showcased at Foxconn’s Technology Day. Moreover, NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang has stated that ‘physical AI’ could have a far larger impact than generative or agentic systems since robots are expected to influence the lives of ordinary people in both commercial and professional settings.
