After six years of anticipation, Hollow Knight developer Team Cherry has finally announced a release date for the highly anticipated metroidvania game, Hollow Knight Silksong. The game is set to launch on September 4, 2025, across multiple platforms including PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The waiting is almost over, and fans can now relax without wondering if the game will appear at The Game Awards or Summer Game Fest. The special announcement hosted by Team Cherry was watched live by more than a quarter of a million people, demonstrating the excitement among fans of the first Hollow Knight game for new content from the developers.
