President Donald Trump expressed frustration over Ukrainian attacks that disabled the Russian oil pipeline Druzhba, which supplies Hungary and Slovakia, NATO allies. The attacks have frustrated Trump as he tries to broker peace in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban shared a handwritten note from Trump in a private Facebook group for his supporters. In it, Trump wrote: “Viktor—I do not like hearing this,” expressing anger at the attacks on Druzhba and their impact on Hungarian energy security. He urged Slovakia to take notice, calling it a “very unfriendly move.”

Orban had previously written to Trump complaining about these attacks on Druzhba, which supplies Hungary and Slovakia with oil. Ukraine countered by saying the pipeline also supports Russian armed forces.

Trump is attempting to bring Zelensky and Putin together for peace talks but faces challenges due to disagreements over key issues like Ukraine’s security and territorial divisions.

In response to Hungarian complaints about attacks on Druzhba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha suggested Hungary should complain to Russia instead, noting that Moscow initiated the war.
