Google’s latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 10, has reportedly fallen into a familiar pattern of problems just days after its launch. Users are now reporting screen glitches that could indicate hardware or software issues.
**Despite the Pixel 10 models being operational, the screen glitches give off a ‘colorful snow’ effect.**
No one wants to spend a premium on a new smartphone only to have it display strange effects. A Reddit user named Ok_Economist_3997 has shared evidence of this issue, showing that their new Pixel 10 shows a colorful snow effect, though the device seems to be functioning otherwise.
Another Pixel 10 owner, Stephen, contacted Android Authority and reported similar problems. The Google Pixel Support team reached out to Ok_Economist_3997 for more details, but another user named KingOfCoders claims that these display glitches are affecting a dozen other owners.
Thankfully, some users have found that the problem resolves itself, suggesting it might be a software issue. This reminds us of previous problems with Google’s Tensor GPU being significantly slower than expected in Geekbench 6, which could indicate outdated drivers. However, unlike Windows, this issue cannot be easily fixed by removing or updating drivers. Ultimately, it is up to Google to address and remedy these issues.
Every year, the Pixel lineup seems to face at least one software or hardware problem, prompting customers to question why they choose Google’s products in the first place. Hopefully, Google can resolve this issue quickly, and for owners whose screen glitches persist, offering immediate replacements would be the right course of action.
