The tech community has eagerly awaited Samsung’s budget-friendly Galaxy S25 FE, which the company finally unveiled on September 4th, 2025. The phone is now available for purchase.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE launches at $649 and is available starting today
Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE, marking a significant upgrade from previous budget models. Priced at $649, it sits between mid-range phones and premium options. This year’s focus is on design improvements, with the latest model being slimmer and lighter than its predecessors.
The phone measures 7.4 mm in thickness and weighs approximately 190 grams, making it more comfortable to hold. Samsung has used Armor Aluminum for the frame and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus on both the front and back for added protection. Slimmer bezels have also been implemented, enhancing the device’s overall form factor and ergonomics. The slim design makes the S25 FE appear more modern and similar to flagship models like the Galaxy S25 series.

The Galaxy S25 FE features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing smoother transitions and an enhanced visual experience. The peak brightness can reach up to 1,900 nits, making it suitable for outdoor use in bright environments. Despite its slim design, the phone boasts a large 4,900 mAh battery, the largest on any FE model. It also supports fast charging at up to 45W, similar to top-tier Galaxy devices.
The device is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The front camera has been improved to 12 MP, enhancing selfies and video calls. The phone runs on Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box, offering seven years of OS and security updates.
With better performance, a larger battery, and an improved display, the Galaxy S25 FE offers premium features without breaking the bank. Samsung’s approach with this model bridges premium design with budget-friendly pricing, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
