The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to cost $1,199, marking a $200 increase from its predecessor, though it will come with 256GB of storage as standard instead of the usual 128GB.
The iPhone 17 Air’s value proposition seems questionable due to several compromises. It will only have one rear camera and feature an in-house C1 5G modem, similar to the iPhone 16e, which means it won’t support mmWave networks. Additionally, Apple is reportedly considering a battery case for the iPhone 17 Air to address poor screen time performance.
According to TrendForce, the iPhone 17 Air could start at $999 instead of $1,099, as Morgan Stanley suggests. However, this price still appears excessive and may not justify its features or performance compared to other models in Apple’s lineup.
