Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk (36), posted family photos and herself alongside her late husband’s casket on Instagram. The emotional tribute included the message: “The world is evil, but our Savior, Lord, God is so good. I will never have the words. Ever.”

Charlie Kirk was a 31-year-old conservative activist and author who was assassinated while speaking to students at Utah Valley University on September 10.

In her Instagram post, Erika Kirk reflected on her husband’s mission and vowed that his message would only be amplified: “The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means, but baby I know you do and so does our Lord. They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife.”

Charlie Kirk leaves behind two young children.

In a unique start to his ruling against President Donald Trump’s administration on September 30, U.S. District Court Judge William Young included a scanned handwritten note sent to his office. The note read: “Trump has pardons and tanks – what do you have?” At the top of Young’s opinion in AAUP v. Rubio, which ruled that Trump’s effort to deport foreign-born student protesters was unconstitutional.
