Philips has added a new monitor to its Evnia 5000 lineup, featuring an affordable solution for gamers that can display two different resolution modes. The Evnia 27M2N5901A is a dual-mode gaming monitor capable of displaying 4K resolution at up to 160Hz and 1080p resolution at up to 320Hz. This flexibility allows gamers to switch between modes according to their preferences, making it an ideal display for both immersive and competitive gaming.

It excels not only in color reproduction but also in accuracy with a Delta E < 2 in sRGB mode. The monitor comes equipped with AI-enhanced Ambiglow technology, which syncs content colors with LED lighting behind the display, making for an immersive viewing experience. Additionally, it includes built-in stereo speakers rated at 5W (5W x2). The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB PD Type-C port with Alt DP mode. There is also a dedicated USB hub with USB 3.2, USB-B, and two USB-A downstream ports. The monitor features an ergonomic stand that offers height adjustment up to 130mm, pivot, swivel, and tilt. The Evnia 27M2N5901A will be available from early October this year at an MSRP of £329.
