The GPU die used in the RX 9060 is the NAVI 44, identical to that of the RX 9060 XT. Both cards reportedly have 2048 stream processors. However, the VRAM speed will be reduced from 20 GHz on the XT variant to 18 GHz on the RX 9060, resulting in a memory bandwidth drop from 320 GB/s to 288 GB/sāa roughly 10% reduction.
Additionally, there is a slight downgrade in clock speeds. The exact base clock of the RX 9060 is unknown, but it reportedly offers a boost clock of 2.99 GHz, which is about 140 MHz slower than the RX 9060 XT.
As for power consumption, we might see a minor reduction from the default TDP of 150W on the RX 9060 XT to around 130-140W for the non-XT card. Pricing is expected to be $269-$279, positioning it as a strong competitor to the RTX 5060.
An update from Tom’s Hardware reveals that the Radeon RX 9060 will only be available through system integrators.
