According to data from @TechEpiphanyYT, the RX 9070 XT is not only the best-selling graphics card at Mindfactory but also comes close to the total sales of the entire GeForce RTX 50 series. Last week alone, it sold around 640 units, surpassing the 600-unit mark. In contrast, the most popular NVIDIA GPU is now the RTX 5080.
One reason for the RTX 5080’s higher sales is its reduced price, making it about 100-150 Euros cheaper than its official MSRP. Despite this, the RX 9070 XT continues to outsell the RTX 50 series by a significant margin.
The demand for 16 GB GPUs far outweighs that for 8 GB GPUs. The Radeon RX 9060 XT, which has around 370 units sold in a week, also shows a similar trend with 97% of sales being the 16 GB version due to its superior performance over the less popular 8 GB edition.
At Mindfactory, VRAM size sales breakdown indicates that 16 GB GPUs account for almost 80% of total GPU market share. This is evident from the comparison table showing RX 9060 XT and RTX 5060 Ti models, where the 16 GB versions far outperform their 8 GB counterparts.
The most popular brands among users are XFX and PowerColor, which together account for nearly half of all GPU sales in Germany. Other brands like ASUS, GIGABYTE, and MSI also have a significant presence, especially in regions dominated by the RTX 50 series.
In summary, AMD’s RDNA 4 GPUs, particularly the RX 9070 XT, are commanding strong market share at Mindfactory, with a clear preference for larger VRAM capacities among German consumers.
