The Pulse Elevate is set to release next year and will support PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and the PlayStation Portal remote play handheld device. Each speaker features studio-inspired planar magnetic drivers that deliver lifelike sound across the entire audible spectrum. The speakers also come with built-in woofers for rich bass tones, enhancing the overall soundscape.
On the PlayStation 5 console, Sony’s driver technology enhances immersion in games that support Tempest 3D AudioTech by accurately positioning audio cues. Additionally, the Pulse Elevate includes a built-in mic (in the right speaker) with AI-enhanced noise rejection, providing crystal-clear voice communication without needing a headset.
Powering these speakers is PlayStation Link technology for ultra-low latency and multi-device lossless connectivity. They are also compatible with Bluetooth devices, allowing owners to simultaneously listen to in-game audio via a PlayStation Link-connected device and music, voice chat, and more via a separate Bluetooth-enabled device. The Pulse Elevate features a PlayStation Link USB adapter compatible with USB-C ports.
Equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, the speakers can be taken on the go for gaming with a PlayStation Portal Remote Player via PlayStation Link or with a mobile device via Bluetooth. Included charging docks make it easy to transition back into a desktop setup. The speakers also have built-in volume controls and allow players to further personalize their audio experience on PS5 or PC using system menus, though EQ, sidetone, volume, and mic mute settings will only be available on PC with a software update.
The Pulse Elevate will come in Midnight Black and White colors, but supplies for the White version will be more limited. No pricing information was released at this time.
