Due to their unique features, industry sources suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models will receive priority in production. The iPhone 17 family is now undergoing mass production in both India and China for the first time, marking a significant shift from previous years when production was primarily concentrated in China.

Foxconn, the assembler, plans to boost its workforce by offering enhanced signing bonuses and rebates. Regular workers will receive a bonus of 5,400 yuan ($752), while dispatched employees will get an additional rebate of 8,000 yuan ($1,114) plus a subsidy of 1,600 yuan ($223). Some workers have also received bonuses up to 9,300 yuan ($1,294).

Tata Group’s factories in India are expected to account for approximately half of the iPhone production there. Since Apple began diversifying its manufacturing base from China four months ago, total iPhone exports from India have reached $7.5 billion.

While specific models with higher production volumes remain undisclosed, the Pro range is likely to be prioritized due to their unique features and historical market share. According to German sources, Apple will announce the iPhone 17 on September 9. Therefore, mark your calendars for this date as we await the launch.
