German sources correctly predicted that Apple would hold its iPhone 17 launch event on September 9. The company has officially sent out invitations for an ‘Awe Dropping’ keynote on this date, during which it will introduce a total of four new iPhone models. For the first time, Apple plans to unveil an ultra-slim flagship phone, replacing the ‘Plus’ variant. Other products expected include the Apple Watch Series 11, the Apple Watch Ultra 3, and the affordable Apple Watch SE 3. This marks the first time in three years that all of Apple’s smartwatches will be updated at the same event.
The stars of the show will be the base iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and the iPhone 17 Pro models. Additionally, we can expect to see new versions of the AirPods Pro, HomePod mini, and a refreshed Apple TV 4K model equipped with the A17 Pro chip.
Apple is likely to announce price hikes for some iPhone 17 models due to ongoing tariffs. However, they may offer storage upgrades to offset this cost, as they did with the iPhone 15 Pro Max two years ago by phasing out the 128GB version and offering 256GB as standard but at a higher price.
