Apple has released the eighth beta of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26. This update follows a week after the seventh beta was made available to developers, indicating Apple’s ongoing commitment to improving platform stability. Developers can download and install the latest updates on their compatible devices through the Settings app.
iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 Beta 8 Released for Developers, Bringing Enhanced Stability and Changes to the Platform
Registered developers can download and install iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 8 on their compatible iPhone models via the Settings app. To do this, navigate to General > Software Update > Beta Updates, then follow the on-screen instructions. The same process applies for iPads. Before downloading, ensure your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account; otherwise, the update will not appear on your device.
Apple has also released macOS Tahoe 26 and visionOS 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26 beta 8 to developers. These updates can be downloaded on compatible Macs through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. Again, make sure your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account for the update to appear over-the-air.
