Today, Apple has released beta versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe (version 5) to developers for testing. This comes a few weeks after the fourth beta version was distributed. Developers can download these latest builds through the Settings app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac without any cost.
Starting with iOS 26, the fifth beta is now available for all compatible iPhone models. To install it, simply go to the Settings app and navigate to **General > Software Updates > Beta Updates**. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update. The process is similar for iPadOS 26, which can be installed on supported iPads following the same steps.
For macOS Tahoe, you can now download the latest version via System Settings under Software Update. Ensure your Apple ID is linked to a **Developer Account** so that you can receive the update over the air.
Both iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 introduce significant visual design changes and new features, with iPadOS 26 including productivity-focused upgrades like a new windowing system and a Mac-like Menu Bar at the top. There are numerous other changes and enhancements to existing features.
Additionally, Apple has released beta versions of visionOS 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26 (version 5) for developers to test on compatible devices. We will share more details once developers have had a chance to explore these updates.
