### ASUS Brings Back MATRIX with Its ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 “30th Anniversary Edition” Graphics Card
The day is finally here: the return of the ASUS Matrix series. Today, ASUS celebrates the 30th Anniversary of its “MATRIX” series with the launch of the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 “30th Anniversary Edition.”
#### Features and Design
– **Power**: The card supports up to 800W power input.
– **Cooling**: It features a quad-fan cooling design, which increases air flow and pressure by up to 20%. The front faces three fans, while the fourth fan is on the back. This push-pull design enhances airflow efficiency.
– **Aesthetics**: The card boasts an iconic red and black color scheme with Aura Lightning support. It includes an ARGB-Lit infinity mirror on the back that displays the “MATRIX” logo.
– **Connector**: The card uses a GC-HWPR 2.5 connector in addition to the standard 16-pin connector, allowing for up to 800W of power and a 10% performance boost.
#### PCB Design
The premium PCB design includes:
– A 3 Oz Copper layer that enhances heat dissipation and reduces voltage drops.
– Liquid Metal Thermal Interface Material (TIM) applied to the GPU.
– A vapor chamber for better contact surface.
– Densely packed fins on the heatsink, offering a 10% increase in surface area.
#### Performance
The RTX 5090 ROG Matrix features:
– A massive 323 MHz factory overclock with a maximum clock speed of 2730 MHz using the OC BIOS.
– The whole card measures 357.6 x 149.3 x 76mm and has a 3.8-slot form factor.
#### Availability
ASUS hasn’t shared details on pricing and availability but expects this to be a limited model with just 1000 units produced, priced north of $2500 US.
