ASUS has launched two new high-end gaming monitors in its OLED lineup, offering the world’s first 4K WOLED displays with high refresh rates. These monitors feature dual mode configurations, allowing users to switch between 4K and FHD resolutions with a single tap.
The first model, ROG Strix XG32UCWMG, boasts incredible specifications, delivering up to 240Hz at 4K resolution and up to 480Hz at 1080p. This monitor provides an exceptional gaming experience by maintaining high visual quality while offering a competitive edge.
The second model, ROG Strix XG32UCWG, is a more affordable option with the same 31.5-inch screen size and WOLED panel. It supports up to 165Hz at 4K resolution and up to 330Hz at FHD. Both monitors support HDR10 modes and deliver true 10-bit color depth for high visual fidelity, along with excellent color reproduction and accuracy (Delta E < 2). Both monitors share similar specifications and design features. They feature thin bezels, ergonomic stands, and TrueBlack Glossy film to maintain better blacks and reduce glare. ASUS claims these monitors have a 45% smaller footprint compared to their predecessors, taking up less space on the desk while retaining versatile ergonomics. Additional features include DisplayWidget Center software for customized modes, Auto KVM for quick device switching with a single keyboard and mouse setup. The monitors come equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-C with DP Alt mode, and a dedicated USB Hub with three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports for connecting peripherals. Pricing details have not been announced yet, but they are expected to be revealed soon.
