Even though the Battlefield 6 open beta has ended, players can still participate in it again before its launch on October 10, 2025. Alongside a new trailer for the PC version of Battlefield 6 that debuted today, EA and Battlefield Studios have reactivated sign-ups for their Battlefield Labs playtesting program. This program will allow testing of new maps, gameplay modes, and adjustments from the beta ahead of launch.
The trailer showcases key features of the PC experience, provided you have compatible hardware. It highlights ultrawide monitor support, NVIDIA DLSS multi-frame generation, Intel XeSS, AMD FSR, and 600+ customization options for PC players. If you played the beta on your PC, you likely already know about these features. You might also recall the secure boot issue that affected many players trying to access Battlefield 6, which is mentioned in the trailer as it highlights the game’s Javelin Anti-Cheat protection.
What’s exciting is that there’s still an opportunity to play more Battlefield 6 before its launch. Battlefield Labs sign-ups have resumed, giving those not already part of the program another chance. The collective team at Battlefield Studios aims to test all changes previously discussed based on beta feedback, along with new functionalities for Battlefield Portal and server browsing.
Players in the labs will be able to try out new maps like Operation Firestorm and Mirak Valley, as well as test Hardcore Mode for the first time.
If you enjoyed the beta and can’t wait to play more Battlefield 6, the Labs playtesting program is your best option. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until its launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 10, 2025.
