The tech community is eagerly anticipating Google’s next Made by Google event, scheduled for August 20, 2025. This could be one of the most significant hardware launches yet, with anticipation for four new smartphones and the highly anticipated Pixel 10 series. Based on leaked information, these upcoming devices are expected to feature subtle design tweaks, a heavier build, and possibly a larger battery. However, a recent report from WinFuture suggests that some of the anticipated products may not be available simultaneously.
Specifically, Google’s Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL are set for release around August 28, 2025. In contrast, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a have been pushed back to October 9.
The delay is attributed to supply chain issues impacting these devices. While they will be announced alongside the standard Pixel 10 phones, users hoping for immediate availability may have to wait longer post-announcement. This fragmented launch window could dilute initial momentum and risk underperformance compared to a unified release date.
For early adopters and enthusiasts, this delay is disappointing. These products were highly anticipated due to significant upgrades over their predecessors. Google has faced similar challenges in the past, with delays in the Pixel Fold rollout and issues with Pixel Watches. This underscores the company’s ongoing difficulties in aligning production schedules with its ambitious goals.
Let’s hope these products exceed expectations, making the wait worthwhile. However, compared to competitors, Google still needs to improve its logistics for seamless product availability.
