Ant Esports, a sub-brand of HKC, is making waves in the high refresh rate display segment. They have released their latest gaming monitor, the ANT275PQ Max, which boasts a 500Hz refresh rate. This monitor is the first QHD IPS model to exceed 500Hz.
Ant Esports has been aggressive with high refresh rate monitors. While popular brands like ASUS, MSI, AOC, and Samsung have already unveiled their fastest models, Ant Esports took an earlier step by introducing a 750Hz TN gaming monitor. Now, they are back with the ANT275PQ Max, which is the world’s first QHD IPS display to surpass 500Hz.
The ANT275PQ Max uses HMO (High Mobility Oxide) backplane technology, enabling faster electron mobility and reduced response time. This results in accurate colors and lower power consumption compared to traditional IPS panels. The monitor features a 27-inch screen with a 2560x1440p resolution, 99% DCI-P3 color space for vibrant images, and a 1.2mm GtG response time.
Another notable feature is the DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 interface, which delivers uncompressed visuals at high refresh rates with 80 Gbps bandwidth. This upgrade overcomes one of the limitations seen in the company’s previous 750Hz TN model. The monitor also controls motion artifacts well, thanks to its low overshoot at 4.21%.
The ANT275PQ Max is priced at 6,999 Yuan (approximately US$978) and will be available in China soon. Although this price point is still high, it offers leading specifications on an IPS panel. Ant Esports has also launched other models in the HMO series, starting from 1,799 Yuan ($250). In 2026, the company plans to release a 1000Hz backlit display, further enhancing fluidity.
