The latest version of HWiNFO, version 8.30, now supports the recently launched GeForce RTX 5090 D V2 graphics card in China. This new variant features reduced specifications compared to the standard RTX 5090, including lower VRAM capacity and a narrower memory bus.
The GeForce RTX 5090 D V2 was officially unveiled about a week ago and is now available for retail in China after being banned earlier due to US export policies. Despite these limitations, this new GPU offers the same shader capabilities as the standard RTX 5090 but has some of its functions disabled to comply with U.S. regulations.
HWiNFO version 8.30 includes support for the RTX 5090 D V2, allowing users to view accurate specifications for their new GPU. According to Colorful, a Chinese manufacturer, the RTX 5090 D V2 starts at $2,880, maintaining the high price point of the original variant.
In addition to supporting the RTX 5090 D V2, HWiNFO version 8.30 also added support for the RTX 5050, which was released last month. The release notes confirm early support for Intel’s upcoming Nova Lake series, which is expected to launch next year with up to 52 cores.
Intel’s progress on the Nova Lake CPU family has been tracked, and rumors suggest that a high-performance variant called Nova Lake AX could offer significant improvements in L3 cache. However, its official launch remains uncertain.
