US-based memory manufacturer Origin Code has recently unveiled the Vortex DDR5, a high-capacity memory kit that features unique cooling technology for enhanced performance.
Origin Code Unveils World’s “Fastest” High-Capacity DDR5 Memory Modules Called VORTEX DDR5; Available in up to 256 GB Capacity with Triple-Fan Solution on Top
Origin Code, a lesser-known memory brand, has introduced the Vortex DDR5, which it claims is the world’s fastest high-capacity DDR5 memory. While independent testing hasn’t been conducted yet, Origin Code provides screenshots showing that its 256 GB kits can achieve speeds up to 6000 MTs with an ultra-low CL30 latency.
Alongside high-speed and low-latency performance, the Vortex DDR5 introduces an innovative triple-fan cooling system to enhance heat dissipation. This design ensures quieter operation while maintaining efficient cooling. Origin Code refers to it as their “innovative triple 4020 dual-ball bearing fan module,” which delivers 22.5 CFM of airflow with each 40mm x 40mm x 40mm fan.

The triple-fan cooling system is complemented by the patented “Scale Cut Cooling Fin” structure, which boosts heat dissipation up to 39.8%. The modules are constructed from high-grade aluminum alloy, providing a mirror-like finish for enhanced aesthetics. According to Origin Code, the Vortex DDR5 can achieve high frequencies at extremely low latencies and offer Dual EXPO profiles, reaching speeds of 6000 MT/s at CL26 and up to 8000 MT/s at CL36 with 48 GB x2 memory kits.
The company offers several capacity options: 16 GB (8 GB x 2), 48 GB (16 GB x 3), 96 GB (24 GB x 4), and 160 GB (40 GB x 4). These configurations can achieve speeds up to 6200 MT/s at CL26. Origin Code has demonstrated that these frequencies are highly stable on budget motherboards like B850M Aorus PRO WiFi 7 and PRO X870-P WiF,i with processors such as Ryzen 9600X, Ryzen 9700X, and 9900X.
The Vortex DDR5 is not yet available for purchase, but Origin Code plans to reveal more details on pricing and availability in mid-October.
