MAXSUN recently unveiled its Arc Pro B60 Dual 48G Turbo card, which features two BMG-G21 GPU dies with independent 24 GB memory configurations. Unlike gaming GPUs that share a common memory pool, each die operates independently, ideal for parallel workloads in professional and AI applications. The Arc Pro B60 Dual 48G Turbo is not designed for gaming but rather for specialized tasks requiring high VRAM capacity.
Intel has confirmed the launch of this B60 edition in the third quarter alongside the slower B50 variant. MAXSUN is reportedly ready to deliver the 48 GB version soon. A Redditor claims he spoke with a senior manager at MAXSUN and was informed that the GPUs will start shipping next week, likely on August 18th. The price for this card is expected to be more than twice the MSRP of the Arc Pro B60 due to its dual GPU configuration.
Intel faces production challenges with the Arc Pro B60 GPU, leading to limited initial inventory and future production constraints. As a result, Intel plans to sell the B60 through system integrators rather than directly to consumers. The dual variant is expected to cost around $1,200, which could make it appealing for AI tasks.
Another interesting report indicates that MAXSUN recently unveiled its compact ARL-HX Mini Station AI workstation, featuring dual Arc Pro B60 24 GB GPUs paired with a Core Ultra 9 275HX and 256 GB system memory for approximately $2,800. This machine is expected to launch in September, suggesting that the B60 Dual 48G Turbo could be close to its release date as well.
