James Stephen ‘Jimmy’ Donaldson, better known as MrBeast on YouTube, has garnered millions of subscribers and a positive reputation through his philanthropic endeavors. Now, with multiple successful businesses under his belt, he plans to venture into the mobile phone industry by offering a new service.
The objective of MrBeast’s mobile phone service is to create a platform similar to Mint Mobile, aiming to replicate its success. A leaked investor deck confirmed by Business Insider revealed that MrBeast intends to launch this service in 2026. Additionally, he has plans to explore the fintech and mobile gaming sectors in the future.
To begin, MrBeast will establish an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator), a strategy also used by Mint Mobile. This approach enables partnerships with major U.S. carriers while providing affordable rates and decent service without the need for extensive infrastructure investments—potentially saving MrBeast billions. Given his previous collaboration with T-Mobile, there is a high chance that this carrier will be chosen as a partner.
Beyond offering mobile phone services, MrBeast has already established several multi-million-dollar businesses in the United States. For instance, Feastables generated approximately $250 million in sales. He also runs a reality competition show, which, despite estimated losses of around $80 million, focuses on production quality and reinvestment rather than short-term profits.
In summary, MrBeast is set to enter the mobile phone industry with an MVNO strategy, aiming to replicate the success of Mint Mobile while exploring other business opportunities.
