Nintendo has been known for its aggressive legal tactics. Its ongoing lawsuit against PocketPair, the developers of Palworld, exemplifies this approach. The company filed suit almost a year ago, and since then, it has changed patents to better support its arguments, acquired new patents, and now argues that game mods do not count as “prior art.”
According to Gamesfray, which has closely followed the case for months, PocketPair attempted to use game mods as part of their defense.
