A new Nioh 3 trailer was shared during today’s State of Play presentation, confirming the game’s early 2026 release date and showcasing new gameplay. The trailer, available to watch below, reveals that the story will take place in 1572 with historical figures from Japan’s Sengoku era featured. It promises a more complex series with two distinct fighting styles, an open level design, and challenging enemies.
The video also confirms Nioh 3 will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on February 6, 2026, as previously leaked by Amazon Japan. An alpha demo was available for players to try out before the final release, based on which Team NINJA and Koei Tecmo made some adjustments. These include balance tweaks, improved controls, better visibility in stages, and enhanced graphics such as Global Illumination improvements, reduced fog in certain areas, and better textures.
Nioh 3 launches on February 6, 2026, for PC and PlayStation 5.
