Google is set to launch the Pixel 10 in a few hours, with a range of products on tap. The most premium offering will be the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which comes equipped with top-tier hardware and is expected to be Google’s most durable foldable smartphone yet. The latest leaked marketing material highlights fortified features such as an improved hinge and software updates designed to enhance user experience.
**The Latest Leaked Images Show that Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold Is Designed to Survive More Than 10 Years of Folding and Unfolding**
A total of four images were shared by Roland Quandt. Among them, three demonstrate how the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s primary display can be used for multitasking purposes like Split Screen. Additionally, Google has integrated Gemini Live into the device, allowing users to receive relevant information simply by placing an object in viewfinder. In one image, it’s noted that shaking the camera will inform the user about what kind of sea mammal they are observing.
One of Google’s key strengths with its Pixel series is excellent camera color science. Now, thanks to the camera review system, users can choose their preferred images from multiple photos taken. With a larger display on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, users can review several pictures simultaneously and enjoy an updated UI for seamless interaction. Lastly, there’s the hinge mechanism.
Google markets its Pixel 10 Pro Fold as its first foldable with IP68 dust and water resistance and a new gearless high-strength hinge capable of extensive folding and unfolding. While this claim comes with a caveat about daily use, we’ll have to wait until the event to see how the hinge performs over time.
From the images, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold appears to feature an upgraded, premium design with a stunning gray finish. Its hinge mechanism’s durability remains to be seen and will be discussed after the event concludes.
