Google has unveiled the Pixel Watch 4 at the Made by Google event 2025, and this latest iteration aims to address user pain points with significant improvements. Google is focused on refining its devices by emphasizing substantial upgrades for better performance and durability. The Pixel Watch 4 introduces smarter health tracking, faster app performance, and longer battery life compared to previous models. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip with a dual-chip architecture that includes a Cortex M55 co-processor, which significantly boosts performance.
With Wear OS 6 featuring the refreshed Material 3 Expressive design, users can manage daily tasks more efficiently through a blend of Google services that include health insights and AI-powered suggestions. At its core is a domed “Actua 360” AMOLED screen with improved visibility by up to 16 percent and a brightness level of up to 3,000 nits, making it easier to read outdoors.
### Battery Life and Charging
The Pixel Watch 4 improves battery life over its predecessors. The 41mm model lasts up to 30 hours under typical use, while the 45mm model lasts up to 40 hours. Fast charging is supported, allowing users to reach up to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. The charging mechanism has been redesigned; instead of sitting flat on a magnetic puck, it can now sit sideways on a small rectangular dock, which also allows for quick screen scanning.
### Health and Safety Features
The Pixel Watch 4 introduces next-gen skin temperature sensing, improving sleep tracking accuracy by about 18 percent. It includes dual-frequency GPS for better outdoor accuracy and automatic AI-powered activity detection. Safety features include Emergency Satellite SOS, which enables the LTE to send emergency messages via satellite.

AI-powered coaching is one of the most compelling upgrades with the Pixel Watch 4. The Gemini-powered Personal AI Coach offers tailored sleep plans and adaptive fitness based on user goals. It can act as a real-time guide during workouts.
### Pricing and Availability
The Pixel Watch 4 comes in three finishes: Polished Silver, Matte Black, and Champagne Gold. The 41mm Wi-Fi model starts at $349, while the larger 45mm model ranges from $399 to $499 based on connectivity options. Pre-orders are available now, with deliveries beginning October 9th.
