Meanwhile, the Trump administration is preparing to send more Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to Chicago for an immigration enforcement operation. Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton confirmed that these officers will arrive this week.
Critics argue that Trump’s actions are merely distraction tactics aimed at diverting attention from other issues such as the Epstein files, California redistricting, and alleged voting rights violations in Texas.
