According to MP1st, through anonymous sources, Marvel’s Wolverine is set for release in 2026. The report revealed that Insomniac’s other project, Venom, is still in active development despite earlier fears of cancellation or pause. Eddie Brock should host the alien symbiote this time, diverging from recent live-action portrayals.
In the Venom game, players will encounter Carnage again. This character was seen in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, where Cletus Kasady refers to “carnage” as a future threat. Given that Carnage is considered Venom’s darker and more powerful offspring in general Marvel lore, his inclusion makes sense.
While Insomniac confirmed Marvel’s Wolverine long ago, no official confirmation has been given for Carnage yet. We’ll need an official reveal to confirm its existence.
