[Battlefield 6 seems to be well-optimized for X3D processors. According to a Twitch streamer, the game can run at over 300 fps on average with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.]

Twitch Streamer Bruhskey: Ryzen 9800X3D + RTX 5080 Delivers Over 300 FPS in Battlefield 6 at Native 1440p, While Core i9 14900K Performs Significantly Worse

With each new triple-A title, performance demands generally increase. The latest report suggests that if you have a 300+Hz gaming monitor, Battlefield 6 can provide fluid gameplay thanks to its optimization for X3D processors. While evidence is needed in the form of screenshots or gameplay videos, this appears plausible based on Bruhskey’s analysis. He is a moderately popular Twitch streamer.

Bruhskey posted that he achieved over 300 FPS with his setup: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and GeForce RTX 5080. Both components offer excellent gaming experiences, but 300+ FPS in a modern triple-A title suggests the game is well-optimized (Battlefield 6 requires an RTX 3060 Ti as the recommended GPU).

As per Bruhskey, Ryzen 9800X3D outperforms Intel counterparts significantly. His friend uses an Intel Core i9 14900K but gets about 110 FPS less with identical GPU and graphical settings. This translates to roughly a 30-33% lower performance.

BATTLEFIELD 6 Average fps performance was very good, NUMBERS/SPECS BELOW

330-370fps gpu
310-330fps cpu
6.7-8.5 PCL Latency

Not allowed to show screenshots but for those asking, 9800x3d + 6400 1:1 2133 32gb + 5080 3200mhz core AND no optimized nvidia driver.

Real matches, mostly Cairo on playtime.

Friend of mine with same gpu but 14900k got 110 less fps than me while matching settings. Seems like x3d will matter A LOT.

Did not have replay buffer or use ndi for game pc transmission. Only ea app and the game were open.

1440p native

The reported performance difference should be taken with a grain of salt as no evidence was provided. At 1440p native, 300+ FPS seems too good to be true. His system latency was also very low at just 6.7 to 8.5 nanoseconds.

If the reported performance difference holds true, other X3D CPUs could similarly push the performance. Traditionally, many games favor X3D CPUs due to higher L3 cache, which can be beneficial in intensive processes. This could be another instance where AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology excels.
