Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed optimism about the publisher’s upcoming lineup. In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz ahead of the financial report, he listed several games scheduled for release in the next year, including Ken Levine’s Judas from Ghost Story Games. According to Zelnick, “We have a number of releases coming in the next 12 months – it’s probably our most robust release schedule ever. We have NBA 2K26, Borderlands 4 (which I’m really excited about), WWE 2K mobile for Netflix, WWE 2K26, and of course GTA 6.”
Additionally, Zelnick mentioned CSR 3 from Zynga and Project Ethos from 2K. “We have CSR 3 coming from Zynga, Judas coming from Ghost Story Games, and Project Ethos coming from 2K,” he said. “It’s the most robust lineup I’ve ever been able to talk about this far in advance.”
The concept for Judas, described as narrative LEGOs, has been under development for over a decade. Levine first discussed it at GDC in 2014 and then again in late 2015. The game was announced at The Game Awards 2022 and unveiled about fifteen months later. Just last month, Levine thanked Take-Two for not forcing Ghost Story Games to add live service elements.
Zelnick’s confidence in Mafia: The Old Country is evident: “I feel great about it. It’s a wonderful premium title, priced right, and really beautiful.”
