Where Winds Meet is an open-world action-adventure RPG developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase. The game will be available for free-to-play on PS5 and PC in the Western world on November 14, 2025, as announced by Everstone and NetEase.
The game initially launched on PC in China in December 2024 and was later released on iOS and Android in January of this year. Lead designer Chris Lyu explains in a PlayStation Blog post that the November release marks the culmination of five years of work at Everstone Studio.
A final PC and PS5 test for Where Winds Meet was held last month, ahead of the November launch. Around that time, Wccftech’s Alessio Palumbo spoke with Everstone Studio, specifically Chris Lyu, about the upcoming title.
“Our main goal has always been to share the world of Eastern martial arts in a way that feels new, exciting, and approachable for players everywhere. We want to present something truly different but also make sure it’s easy for everyone to connect with, using familiar language and storytelling styles.”
It will be interesting to see how this resonates with players when the game is released on PC and PS5 on November 14, 2025.
